From the street, an expressive structure of angled columns and brightly coloured walls creates a dramatic presence, while the two wings of the building are arranged around a quiet courtyard that shelters the outdoor amenity space. Inspired by the enclosed outdoor spaces characteristic of European residential buildings, the central W Courtyard provides residents with a retreat from the activity of the city. Residential suites either face into this quiet urban oasis or face outwards towards the view of the city, Lake Ontario and the grounds of historic Fort York. All suites feature balconies recessed behind the exterior walls to maximize privacy.
